your favorite fun fact.

heartfelt note to a member of staff!

Wear blue and make a splash! Create some art for a member of
staff.

Donations needed!

We’re calling on Sierra
Height’s families to
help us collect a few
more things to
celebrate our amazing
staff. Visit the site
below to see how you
can help.

All suggestions are optional. Staff includes
everyone who works at Sierra Heights Elementary.

Trainer Appreciation Week

A whole week of telling and showing our Sierra Heights staff how thankful we are for them.

  • Move-A-Thon!

  • May 16th is our annual Move-a-thon fundraiser. This event will happen during the school day, and all students will participate by waking, skipping or running around our track! All donations go towards fun events and programs that the PTSA sponsors throughout the year!

PTSA Membership

Your membership strengthens our school community and helps us achieve our goals. Joining does not require a background check or participation in
volunteer activities; though we love to see as many families as possible get involved. All families, students, and staff are welcome to join.

Parent Teacher Student Association

  • Being active at your students' school shows them how important
    their education is.

  • Being involved is a great opportunity to meet new people and get
    to know the school staff.

  • Participation allows the PTSA to host fun events and programs.

  • Your membership enables the PTSA to provide supplemental
support to staff members outside of the district supported
    programs.

Popcorn Fridays

The fastest way to
meet your students’
friends and the
Sierra Heights Staff.
It's so much fun, and
loved by all! Come
see why!

Art Docent

Our Art Docent program is a fun
way to be present in your
students’ class. We have an
easily accessible art curriculum
program with loads of lessons
and inspiration to choose from,
along with all the necessary
supplies. Our Art Coordinator is
available to answer any
questions and we supply all the
materials needed. For more
information, contact us at

Volunteer

Every volunteer needs a background
check.

Process time is about 2 weeks.

We need a lot of volunteers and planners for
all the events throughout the school year. We
will take any amount of time you can give.
Whether in person or digitally. We love building
the school community and welcome everyone
to be a part!

Thank You!

As an organization comprised

  • Corporate Matched Funds

  • Many local employers will match
    donations to 501(c)(3) organizations
such as the Sierra Heights Parent
    Teacher Association (aka PTSA). Known
    employers that match their employees
    monetary donations include Amazon,
    Boeing, Microsoft, and T-Mobile. Each
    employers process is different, check
with your employer to see if a
corporate match is an option in your
company. Email our Treasurer with any
    questions at
    Treasurer@sierraheightsptsa.org.

Shopping Our Online Store and Donating Directly
Supports Our PTSA Programs and Events

  • Many companies will make a monetary
donation to the PTSA for the hours you
volunteer with the Sierra Heights PTSA.
Check with your employer to see if they
offer this benefit and turn your hard work
with the PTSA into money we can use to
offer more events, programs, and support
    to our school!
